May Chapter Meeting 2 Day Event

“From VTOL to eVTOL Technical Solutions from the NASA VTOL Development Experience” May 24-25, 2018 Silicon Valley California

AGENDAUAM Spring 2018

The first day of the workshop will focus on technical presentations that highlight lessons-learned from past experience and their value as design considerations for future VTOL vehicles. Informal discussion periods will follow the technical presentations.

The second day will focus on tours and demonstrations of testing capabilities and tools at NASA Ames Research Center that are applicable to VTOL vehicle design and testing. These include the Vertical Motion Simulator (VMS), Unitary Plan Wind Tunnel (UPWT), and the NASA Advanced Supercomputing Facility (NAS). NASA engineers will be available for one-on-one technical discussions throughout the workshop.
